Round Robin events are a fun and fast paced doubles format that consists of 20 minutes of rotating match play. No need to bring a partner! Chip Shade, one of our local pros will set up play based on your level. All levels are welcome! RSVP to This email address is being protected from spambots. Valdosta-Lowndes County Parks & Recreation Authority’s tennis center is one of the top facilities in the nation, according to the United States Tennis Association (USTA). The USTA presented VLPRA’s Harry B. Anderson Tennis Center with its prestigious Outstanding Facility Award, which recognizes excellence in the construction and/or renovation of tennis facilities throughout the country. The center was one of only eleven facilities in the nation to receive the award in the “Public Courts: Large Tennis Centers” category. VLPRA Tennis Pros Keith Childree and Chip Shade accepted the award at the USTA’s Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati last week.
USTA Junior Team Tennis is a very popular junior recreational program and Georgia has one of the largest in the country. This nationwide program is designed to provide juniors with a fun team format consisting of singles, doubles and mixed play for boys and girls of all skill levels. We are offering a 3-week program of Junior Team Tennis.

- • 8 & Under and 10 & Under - Beginner
- • 12 & Under and 14 & Under – Beginner and Intermediate
- • Cost: $30.00 per player
- • Time: Sunday from 2:00-5:00pm on 04/18, 04/25, and 05/02/2021

- • Teams are Co-ed
- • Matches = 1 Boys Singles, 1 Girls Singles, 1 Boys Doubles, 1 Girls Doubles, and 1 Mixed Doubles.
